Put the name of volunteer nominating here and indicate why you feel the nominee is worthy and list their contributions/ volunteering for the town of Berlin. Deadline July 31, 2026.

Fill out the form fields on this page including your name, contact information and details on the person you are nominating. Deadline is July 31, 2026 with the award being given in September (the nominator/recipient will be notified beforehand). All submissions will be 'anonymously' reviewed and independently voted upon exclusively by the nine previous award recipients.

Every year, the recipient of the Berlin Volunteer Award has the opportunity to make a $500 donation to the charity of their choice. The Berlin Volunteer Fund is administered by the Berlin Lions Club and is used exclusively to fund the annual $500 charitable donation as determined by the yearly recipient of the Robert B. Dornfried Sr. Volunteerism Award. One hundred percent of contributions go directly to the Fund and donations are appreciated with all funds going to worthy causes.
